Welcome to Leisure Inn Grand Chanakya, Jaipur of StayWell Holdings, one of the largest hotel management groups in Asia Pacific.

The health and safety of our guests and team members is our greatest priority, and we want you to know that we take this responsibility very seriously.

In light of the recent pandemic, we have undertaken an intensive audit of all hygiene and sanitation practices across the entire group. As a result, StayWell Holdings has announced its post COVID-19 Minimum Brand Standards for Hygiene & Sanitation – the ‘Stay Well’ program.

With a focus on protecting guests and employees, the ‘Stay Well’ program outlines auditable minimum standards and measures that span front office, guestrooms and housekeeping, public areas, back of house, restaurants and food outlets, functions and events, and human resources and training. Each new measure complements the already stringent standards upheld by the group, and keeps guest and employee safety front and centre.

You may have already noticed some of the key features in place, include hospital grade sanitisation, including increased frequency of cleaning (up to every 30 minutes in high touch areas), installation of sensor hand sanitisers within all public spaces including lifts, and management of social distancing across public spaces. In addition, hotels have introduced innovative measures that include the installation of shoe sanitiser mats at hotel entrances, immunity boosting menus, and the introduction of QR code mobile ordering systems at all hotel restaurants.

This ‘Stay Well’ policy has been designed as a guideline to implement minimum brand standards across all hotels to achieve the following objectives:

  • Elevated importance of health & safety in the workplace
  • Elevated importance of health & safety to all guests
  • The importance of “places” with generous space distancing
  • Creating a “clean and safe environment” for our employees and guests
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), along with frequent testing and monitoring areas
  • Germ mitigation – use of ‘easy-clean’, and easily disposable materials
  • Providing Stay Well kits – sanitizer, alcohol wipes, and tissues to all guests
  • Low Touch High Impact solutions and Zero Touch solutions
  • Investment in training and health and safety education with measurable results

Safety and Security

Upon Arrival

  1. Fire Escape Plan
    On entering your room, please study the fire escape plan on the back of your room door. Establish the route towards the nearest fire exit that you would take in case of fire.
  2. Fire Alarm Call Points
    Locate and confirm the positions of the nearest fire alarm and extinguisher on your floor.

If You Discover A Fire

  1. Raise the Alarm
    Upon detecting any fire or smoke, break the glass of the nearest fire alarm call point and call for help by pressing Emergency on the telephone.
  2. If Possible, Put Out the Fire
    Use the nearest fire extinguisher or fire house reel to put out the fire, without putting yourself at risk.
  3. Evacuate
    Should the fire get out of control, close all doors behind you and leave the building immediately via the exit staircase. Do not use the elevators.

If You Hear The Fire Alarm

  1. A. First Fire Alarm
    If you hear the first fire alarm, remain alert and prepare to evacuate. 
    B. Second Fire Alarm
    If you hear the second continuous fire alarm and are directed to evacuate by the public address system, leave the room immediately by the nearest exit staircase. In the event of smoke, please keep yourself close to the floor and crawl to the nearest fire exit following the EXIT direction signs located at floor level.
  2. Do Not Attempt to Pack Belongings
    Time is precious. Do not attempt to pack your belongings in case of fire. Save your life first.
  3. Do Not Use Lifts/ Elevators
    Never attempt to use lifts/ elevators to evacuate. Use the exit staircase instead.
  4. Do Not Attempt to re-enter the hotel

If You Are Trapped In Your Room

Call the Telephone Operator, bang the door or signal the people outside from the window to attract attention.

  1. Inform Someone of Your Presence
  2. Keep the Fire Out

Wet towels or sheets and wedge them under the door to prevent smoke from entering the room.

Remember:

  • If you are caught in the smoke, take short breaths and crawl to the nearest exit. Air nearer the floor is cleaner and less likely to contain deadly gases.
  • Do not jump out of the building if you are above the ground floor. Rescue might just be a few minutes away.
